Join Bikers for Babies

Why We Ride…
Nationwide, people are riding to save babies. The March of Dimes has had the generous support of the motorcycle community for more than a decade. This is the first year that we will be hosting a March of Dimes Bikers for Babies event in Austin. We are teaming up with Republic of Texas (ROT) Biker Rally and Dee Snider who will lead bikers through the Texas Hill Country on a 100 mile journey. With your continued support, we can help more babies to be born healthy. Know the power of riding to save babies. Raise money, get on your bike and ride!

Why does this event inspire so many people?
Riders know it's for the babies! They want all babies to get a healthy start. Bikers for Babies® allows riders and motorcycle lovers to promote the support they give to the March of Dimes mission, while educating family and friends about the seriousness of premature birth. You can help the March of Dimes find the causes of premature birth and birth defects.

How do I register?
If you pre-register before May 22nd, you will get a ROT t-shirt and March of Dimes shirt.

Team Haller- Another Successful Event!

Team Haller had a lot of fun this weekend at their Bubbles and Baubles fundraising event at 26 Doors Shopping Plaza.

The shopping center, which is normally closed on Sundays, had a special shopping day in the courtyard. Mimosas were served, Rae Cosmetics gave make-overs, and many fabulous boutiques provided a great afternoon of shopping deals!

Team Haller is now at a whopping $4,200 and is our #2 Family Team. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, Team Haller!

Team Cooper is the #6 team this week with $405!! Christy, who is the Team Captain and also serves on the Family Teams Committee, said she has been sending emails out to all of her contacts every week. She has also been updating her friends on Facebook on a weekly basis and has a widget on her blog as well. She is planning a bake sale at the end of the month and an ice cream social in April. Sounds delicious!

The March of Dimes is deeply concerned about the thousands of pregnant women and moms caring for infants and children.
The tragedy this week requires a special response. We are providing a grant to UNICEF dedicated to meeting the urgent needs of Haiti’s moms and babies. If you can help, please donate today.
