Team Haller- Putting the "FUN" in Fundraising

Team Haller, who is also the 2010 Ambassador Family, is the #2 Family Team this week and has raised $2,765.00!! I have asked them what they are doing to be so successful and below you will find fundraising tips and upcoming events they want to share with you:
  • They have built a companion website to help tell their story at http://www.babsandjoe.com/
  • They have planned an upscale shopping event at 26 Doors Shopping Plaza on April 11 called "Bubbles & Baubles" with 20 - 100% of proceeds benefiting Team Haller. The venue has been provided through their friendship with generous local business owner Rochelle Rae of Rae Cosmetics (http://www.raecosmetics.com/). More information on this event is available at http://www.pinklinedesign.com/ Everyone is welcome! Please spread the word!
  • Babs & Joe also formed a friendship with local boutique owner Kinnison Bryan of Baby Bugaloo, who partnered with talented Brooke West Photography (http://www.brookewestphotography.com/) to provide a fabulous Valentines mini photo shoot benefiting Team Haller. Baby Bugaloo is also selling t-shirts March 1 - 31 with 100% of proceeds going to the March of Dimes. Please visit the boutique to purchase a Baby Bugaloo t-shirt for $5, visit the website at http://www.babybugaloo.com/ or call for details today at 301-3800!
  • They have made impassioned pleas by email to friends and family & created a video posted to YouTube at http://tiny.cc/l2wxh to help share the impact of prematurity & loss.
  • Lastly, they've been able to offer free Team Haller t-shirts to walkers as incentive to participate through the generosity of local sponsors who are paying for the shirts. These sponsors include Dr. Anna Bell/Children’s Medical Group (http://www.cmgaustin.com/), Dr. Felicia Nash/Women Partners in Health (http://www.wpih.net/) and Kinnison Bryan/Baby Bugaloo (http://babybugaloo.com/). Children's Medical Group (Kate's pediatrician) has added an announcement to their website about their participation in the March for Babies and are helping patients register online to join the team.
